Person County trained more people than any other county in North Carolina! 🏆
Across all participating counties, 19,739 people were trained in a single day — the largest coordinated CPR training event ever in the U.S. ✨
The best part? The impact doesn’t stop here. We’re hearing amazing stories of kids going home and showing their families how to save a life — from stuffed animals to couch cushions, everyone’s learning that Hands-Only CPR saves lives! 🫀

On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Person County Emergency Services is partnering with the RACE-CARS Trial out of Duke University in an attempt to help train 30,000 people in Hands-Only CPR across 30 counties in North Carolina.
