Lean Ground Beef provides many essential nutrients, vitamins and can be incorporated into many different meals and recipes. There are many beef products that are considered lean – like 93% lean ground beef. However, it is sometimes more economical to purchase higher fat ground beef products. By using this simple process to rinse the meat, you can reduce the amount of fat by up to 50%. Meaning that after rinsing an 80% fat ground beef product, you can create a leaner product to use in your recipes and save a few dollars at the grocery store!
