The Sunday before Mothers day is known as Bereaved Mothers day, started by my friend, CarlyMarie Dudley.

Not because we are any less qualified to be celebrated also on Mothers day, but because our experiences are so complex that they are worthy to hold space in - Bereaved Mothers day honors the heartbreak, devastation, and grief we have experienced along the motherhood journey.

Stillbirthday honors the spaces where birth and bereavement meet.
