Tips To Making Tomorrow Feel Safe & Predictable

A little preview today can make tomorrow softer. Try these quick steps:

Show the plan: 4–6 pictures (morning → drive → meal → gift time → quiet time → home).

Practice the script: “Hello / Thank you / All done” (words, picture card, or AAC).

Comfort kit: headphones , fidget/chewy , favorite snack , small blanket.

Food plan: bring 1–2 safe foods; praise tasting, not finishing.

Break spot: pick a quiet corner and label it “calm space.”

Exit plan: decide a signal for “all done” and leave early if needed permission granted.

Your day, your pace. Comfort first = more smiles. 💙
