I have been serving the greater West Palm Beach community as a pharmacist for more than 10 years. During this time I worked for a retail chain pharmacy. I have identified a big gap between the customer service and corporate culture. There are more than 23,000 independent pharmacies in the United States which is more than CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid and other big chains combined. I decided to become a part of a independent pharmacy for the following reasons. Retail chain pharmacies can not give customized service to specific community because of their corporate bureaucracy. We are a part of more than 2,000 independent pharmacy co-ops to buy at big discounts from drug manufacturers. So we are at a better position than the big chains to sell to our customers at a competitive price. We believe in friendly, prompt and accurate service not cutting the manpower to compromise those. We will beat any cash price from any pharmacy and will honor any competitor’s coupon. You will be dealing with the same pharmacist everyday. Pharmacist will have a total knowledge of what’s happening in the pharmacy. Your pharmacist will not get transferred once you get to know the pharmacist.
