Most of what you've been told about pain and muscle tension is... incomplete.
More pressure isn't always better. If your body feels threatened, it will literally guard and tighten more. That "hurt so good" feeling isn't always helping.
Stretching isn't a cure-all either. Sometimes your body doesn't need more flexibility, but rather strength, rest, or just a little more variety in how you move.
And that spot that hurts? It might just be the loudest messenger, not the root of the problem.
Also... staying in any position for too long is usually the bigger issue than the posture itself.
Your body isn't fragile — it's adaptable. It just needs the right inputs.
