A Little About Me...

I used to live for the visits with my Grandma. Those where no matter what time of the morning you’d wake up you’d find her standing either in front of the kitchen sink or the stove cooking you breakfast. She ALWAYS knew exactly when you would show up and never made you wait for breakfast. Ok - that’s not the most relevant part of this trip down memory lane. My Grandma gives the best, most amazing back and head rubs. EVER! (*No Seriously, EVER!!!) I think laying with my head in her lap on the sofa being on the receiving end of someones loving, compassionate touch may be what inspired me later to get into massage.

So my (Massage) story begins 15 years ago. I was a seasoned retail manager with robust experience in leading amazing teams of people for several well-known retailers. The one part of retail that bothered me the most is how little loyalty exists in that world and after being let go from a job I loved for things far out of my own control I decided a change was in order.

I went to the National Massage Therapy Institute’s Philadelphia campus for a year on a full time basis. I graduated in May 2004 and began my hands on life. I received a great education and have furthered my learning through the years through my many contacts with clients, other therapists and through continuing education. I also believe I am extremely intuitive and give credit to God for leading me to those areas that need attention when I’m in session.

My passion is helping people. Making people feel better. I may not always be able to achieve my “make them feel great” goal, but I can always help them feel better. I hate seeing such amazing people living with some really debilitating conditions. These conditions can be migraines, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s Disease, some uncommon connective tissue disorder or just plain chronic pain from who knows what. I have always appreciated being trusted with someone else’s care and being afforded the opportunity to try and help. Whether or not you suffer a chronic condition which massage may help, I hope to see you on my table sometime soon. I know massage is a deeply intimate and personal experience and I work to preserve your trust and make sure you are always provided the respect and attention you deserve.
