Connections for Special Parents A nonprofit support group for parents, caregivers and families raising kids with special needs. Connections for Special Parents, Inc.

(CSP) was formed to support and connect parents and caregivers raising a child with special needs. CSP strives to share information and tips about successful parenting. CSP offers opportunities that would give a child with special needs a chance to experience greater inclusion at school and in the community. We connect parents and caregivers with resources need to help each child meet his/her full potential and help parents learn the skills needed to become more effective advocates for their child. We also provide respite to caregivers who are continuously in the throes of caring for a child with special needs.

Join us on Friday, December 19, for Recharge!
If you would like to meet in Royston and ride the van, please be at the CSP center by 5:30. Alternatively, you can meet us at Appalachian Smokehouse in Lavonia at 6:00. After dinner, we will head over to see the Christmas lights at Lungsford Farms. Dress warm and bring $10 for dinner.

Exciting news! CSP is looking for students 16+ to join our Buddy Summer Camp crew! If you have a passion for supporting individuals with special needs, we want you! Camp runs from June 1-5, 2026, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. A mandatory training session is set for May 23rd to ensure you're ready to go! Contact Teresa at 706-436-6756 for more info.
