Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service.
Responsibilities
Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks to transport goods efficiently.
Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
Load and unload items safely, ensuring proper handling of packages during transit.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and receipts.
Assist with heavy lifting and moving of items as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card, (we can help with this)
preferred.
Ability to operate a 16 foot box truck.
Familiarity with electric pallet jacks.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Execute exceptional customer service
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
