Did you know that the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, in partnership with Blue Cross of Idaho, created a non-profit foundation called The Primary Care Initiative?

The foundation offers medical education debt repayment for physicians in rural Idaho and recently selected a physician in Rupert to be the beneficiary of its debt repayment award.

Happy Memorial Day to our Mini-Cassia Community.

We are excited to announce that on Monday, June 5th the clinic and Minidoka Memorial Hospital will be going live with a modern and interactive EHR - all MInidoka facilities will be combined for the first time in our history! "EPIC" We are excited for patient portal information access and the communication features we can provide to you with this platform. Look for "Artera" text messaging appointment reminders. MyChart portal will be available soon!

We are in the final stages of the preparations, moving your health information over and training the staff. Thank you for your patience in these last few months!

On Friday, June 2, the clinic will be closed from 8 am to 2 pm for final preparations. We will not be available for appointments or phone calls until after 2 pm, but you can call and leave a message. We will be open on Saturday, June 3rd for regular business hours 9-5.

When you come for an appointment, we will ask you to bring your insurance cards, drivers licenses and to come a little early because we need to scan this information in, and the workflow is all new to us too. We are doing everything we can to minimize the inconvenience to our patients. We are sure we will all appreciate the new technology.
