Looking for something to do with those pumpkins on your porch after they’re past their prime? Just drop them off at our mailbox! We’ll feed them to the animals or compost them back into the soil. Or find a farm local to you! Instead of sending another thing to the landfill, let’s support agriculture! Have a safe Halloween!

Now that our days are slowing down, we have time to introduce some new faces to our farm. One of our new additions this year was a pair of rabbits 🐇 Rabbit manure is a valuable resource in regenerative agriculture due to its high nutrient content and ability to improve soil health. It can be used as a direct soil amendment and it helps to enhance water retention, microbial activity, and overall plant growth. It also doesn’t hurt that they are cute and snuggly. We’re excited to continue to use natural, regenerative ways to provide nutrient dense food!

No market this week! As blueberry season is starting to slow down, so are we. Now is the time to rest (as much as a farm allows) and to prioritize cooking nourishing, whole food meals with the abundance of fruits and veggies that summer brings us. We encourage you to continue to shop with your local farmers and try new foods that you have never tried before!
