Meet the crew:
David is one of our EMR/drivers and has been on the crew for 8 years. David says ‘I was so appreciative of all the people who came and helped us rebuild after the flood that I wanted to return the favor. But didn’t know how because I’m not a very good handyman! Then one day, the Rushford paper said that the Rushford Ambulance needs drivers and I thought I can do that!’ Outside of the department David works as a full-time mailman out of Saint Charles. He’s been with the USPS for 8 years, full time for 2 of those years. David says the best part about being in EMS is helping others. He also encourages anyone who has ever been thinking of joining the crew to call our director for more info. David has been married to Andrea, another fabulous crew member, for 22 years. They have three kids; Matthew, Monica, Malayna and 2 dogs. They also had two great foreign exchange students, Bob and Louenn.  We appreciate you, David!

Meet the crew: Nate has been an EMR/ driver for us for almost 2 years. He joined to help cover driver needs, sharpen his EMR skills, and build relationships with the crew members and the community. For Nate, the best part of being in EMS is the privilege of helping people and working with others who want to do the same. Outside of EMS, Nate is a sergeant for the Rushford Police Department and he is a proud husband and father to a 1 year old. Fun fact about Nate is that he received combat life saver training during his former military career. Nate says, ‘I might arrive to help before the ambulance crew as a police officer, but don’t worry, Paul Corcoran will be here soon!’

Meet the Crew- unofficial Gammel Dag Queen, Karen! For 29 years she’s been apart of our crew thanks to some encouragement from co worker, Gary. She began as an EMR for Riverside and he said ‘why stop there- Rushford needs EMTs.’ Outside of EMS Karen has worked at Riverside Integrated Solutions as an Inventory/Shipping Manager for 37 years. She is also one of our favorite Fillmore Co. dispatchers. Karen’s favorite part of her EMS gig is helping people in need. 💙 Karen has 3 adult children, Matt, Brandy & Jessica, and 7 grandchildren- Bradley, Sophia, Anna, Emily, Benjamin, Noah and Joslyn. At home she loves to garden, read and spend time with her pets, Luca, CB, Lolly, Billy and Ginger. You’re so appreciated Karen!!
