PLEASE READ THE FULL POST, we have a HAPPY news and a SAD News
We are pleased and very proud to announce that “Our Butterfly Home” Has Won SILVER Place in “Tampa bay's Best of the Best People's Choice Awards” presented by the Tampa Bay Times. This was a great accomplishment in only two short years, and we are so thankful to all the voters, supporters, well-wishers, friends and families who helped to make this happen. We would also like to let you know that we were a “Covid Free” facility, that we were honored with a Deficiency Free survey from the Florida State Regulators, and importantly that our six residents were happy and active during the time they spent here in our home.
Unfortunately, at this time we must share some bad news as well. We are officially ANNOUNCING the CLOSURE of Our Butterfly Home Assisted Living. This was a difficult decision for us to make, however, we found it extremely difficult to find... and to keep, Reliable employees. This problem is running rampant these days and many other businesses have also found it necessary to close. Although, we gave it our all.... and tried to keep our business running...it takes many PASSIONATE hands to do this. In the end, we had little choice. We want you to know that our residents have made a smooth transition to other facilities in the area.
We cared about each and every resident, and the sad decision to close Our Butterfly Home, was a hard one to make. Our hearts went out to our seniors, but there was little we could do without staff. Unfortunately, the entire medical industry is going through a similar transition.
The following video is our walk down memory lane. It covers the last two years at Our Butterfly Home. We hope you will agree with us that it is a clear picture that seniors can live active, and enjoyable lives in assisted living homes. In closing, we want to let you know that from our home to yours - we thank you for following us in the past, and we invite to continue to follow us in our future endeavors.
