Today we celebrate Dustin Barnett. His journey through SPARC and the KRV safety & welding programs is a powerful reminder that hope can be rebuilt and purpose can be rediscovered.

Dustin shared how learning a skilled trade not only opened doors for his future, but gave him confidence in who he is becoming. We are so proud of the man he is today and the life he is building.

Change is possible. Growth is real. And Dustin is living proof.

Graduation ceremonies are always so special because they’re open to all the families and friends who want to show up in support of their loved ones. There’s always so much pride, gratefulness, and love in the room — and we love seeing families reunited and hope restored. ❤️

Join us in celebrating Alex Oakes on his incredible three-year recovery milestone on October 28th! Alex is part of our SPARC staff, serving as a Peer Support Specialist, where he uses his own journey to inspire and support others walking the same path.

💬 *“Two days was a milestone I never imagined reaching, let alone three years.�I was so angry that first year because I thought I had lost my best friend — and in some ways, I had. But as that year went on, without even realizing it, I began to find something far greater: peace and purpose.

The peace came first, when I finally realized that chaos had left my life. Then purpose found me when I was hired here at SPARC as a Peer Support Specialist.

Since then, I’ve become the father my children need me to be, the son my mother always prayed for me to be, the husband my wife needed me to be, and the man that God intended me to be.

Without SPARC — and this incredible journey of recovery — I would have never become the person that my family and I both needed me to be.”*

🧣 Winter Clothing Drive at SPARC! 🧤

Join us Friday, November 7th from 8 AM–12 PM at The Cove as we collect new or gently used winter essentials — coats, jackets, hoodies, long sleeves, scarves, hats, gloves, socks, and shoes — to support individuals in need as the colder season approaches.

At SPARC, we believe small acts of kindness can make a big impact. Together, let’s help keep our community warm this winter. ❤️
