Did You Know? 🌟

All SPARC Recovery residences are NARR Level 3 certified through the Kentucky Recovery Housing Network (KRHN). This certification signifies that our homes meet nationally recognized standards for safety, ethics, accountability, and recovery-oriented support, aligning with the guidelines set by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR), Behavioral Health Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (BHDID), and the Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE).

Not all recovery housing offers the same level of quality and oversight. All SPARC Recovery residences are NARR Level 3 certified, ensuring structured oversight and ethical recovery housing standards through KRHN, in partnership with NARR, BHDID, and KORE.

What is NARR?

The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) establishes the national best-practice standards for recovery housing across the United States. NARR certification ensures residences operate with ethical management, protect resident rights, offer peer-driven recovery support, and maintain clear accountability. This helps individuals live in safe, supportive environments that genuinely promote long-term recovery.

Choose quality, structure, and accountability for your recovery journey. 🌟

So many smiles, so many memories 🎄✨

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to gather together at our SPARC Christmas party — a time filled with fellowship, laughter, and celebration. Most importantly, we come together to remember the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who makes life, hope, and redemption possible.

Moments like these remind us that SPARC is more than a program — it’s a family. Thankful for every life represented and the joy we get to share along the journey. 💙

Celebrating Walter Brown today 🎉

Walter recently celebrated 2 years in recovery on 12/20, and we couldn’t be more proud. He is a SPARC graduate and now serves on staff as a KRV instructor and peer support specialist, using his lived experience to pour hope into others every single day.

Here’s what recovery means to Walter in his own words:
“Recovery has shown me the importance of being honest with myself. Through letting God control things, I have found a sense of peace and acceptance that only God can give. I also realize my actions do affect those around me. Recovery is allowing me to be the person I have desired to be: honest, available, and of service to my family and others. I honestly think the heartbeat of my recovery is helping others.”

Walter, thank you for being a living example of transformation, humility, and service. Your story continues to impact lives in powerful ways 🌟
