We’re thankful for so many things… but especially for sobriety, second chances, and the meaningful lives we get to live free from addiction. ❤️

Cody celebrated two years in recovery on November 24th, and we couldn’t be more proud of him! He now serves on staff as a Peer Support Specialist, using his story and compassion to help others find hope and healing.

Here’s what recovery means to Cody:

“Over the last two years, I’ve completed my GED while in SPARC, and I’m now in my third semester of college majoring in criminal justice. I’ve changed every aspect of my life.
Recovery, to me, means being comfortable in my own skin without needing any mind-altering substances to hide behind. It means not thinking less of myself, thinking more of others, and offering to others what has been given to me.”

🦃 Free Community Thanksgiving Meal 🦃
Join us Wednesday, November 26th at 4:30 PM at Liberty Baptist Church for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner shared with our community!

This special meal is completely free and open to anyone who would like to join. Come enjoy good food, connection, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Mike is a valued member of our transportation team here at SPARC! His heart for others shines through in everything he does — from the moment he greets new clients to the many ways he supports them along their journey.

Here’s what Mike shared about why he loves working at SPARC:

“I love working at SPARC because it’s a great feeling to give back what was given freely to me. Picking up guys at their lowest, bringing them to the program, and in a few short weeks seeing them with smiles on their faces and hope in their eyes — to me, that is truly the best feeling ever.”

On Friday, we had the privilege of celebrating two incredible graduates: Christopher Austin and Emmitt Johnson. 🎓✨
Their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to change brought them to this moment — and we could not be more proud.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our clinicians, case managers, peer support team, instructors, and every staff member who walks alongside our clients every single day. It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for a team that shows up with compassion, consistency, and love. 🤝❤️

At SPARC, our clients never walk alone. They are supported through each stage of their recovery journey — and graduation is a powerful reminder of what hope, dedication, and community can do.

Today we celebrate Dustin Barnett. His journey through SPARC and the KRV safety & welding programs is a powerful reminder that hope can be rebuilt and purpose can be rediscovered.

Dustin shared how learning a skilled trade not only opened doors for his future, but gave him confidence in who he is becoming. We are so proud of the man he is today and the life he is building.

Change is possible. Growth is real. And Dustin is living proof.
