What do you wish someone had told you about caregiving? 🤍

For many families, it starts small and slowly becomes more than expected, emotionally, physically, and day to day.

At Morning Pointe Senior Living, we hear this often from families who are trying to navigate what comes next and what support might look like.

This week’s Understanding Senior Living blog shares what many caregivers say they wish they had known sooner.

Caring for a loved one can bring a lot of questions. Sometimes it helps to hear from professionals and others who understand the journey.

Join us for Aging with Grace in Russell, part of the Morning Pointe Foundation’s Caregiver Café educational series. This free community event is designed for caregivers, families, and adult children who are navigating decisions related to aging.

During the program, a panel of local experts will walk through some of the questions families ask most often, such as:
• When is it time to consider assisted living or memory care?
• How do you begin the conversation about needing more support?
• What planning steps should families be thinking about now?

After the discussion, guests will have the opportunity to connect with the panelists individually and ask additional questions.

A little appreciation goes a long way 💛🐣

We’re so thankful for our amazing associates and all they do each day, so we wanted to give them a little something special for Easter. It’s a small way to say thank you for the care, compassion, and dedication they show to our residents every day.

We truly couldn’t do it without them 🌷✨

Another great day spent with our community 💛🐣

Our Easter Egg Hunt was once again a huge success. Residents loved the chance to spend time connecting and fellowshipping with friends, families, and neighbors from around the Russell area.

Events like this mean so much to us. Being part of this community and giving back in ways that bring people together is something we truly cherish.

It’s the little things that make Easter so special. 🐣🌸

Egg hunts, visits from the Easter Bunny, time outside, and moments shared together… these are the kinds of things that reflect the joy of the season.

At Morning Pointe Senior Living, we love celebrating all the fun that comes with spring.

He is risen. ✝️🌿

This Easter morning, we are reminded that hope is alive, love has overcome, and new life is possible. It’s a day filled with meaning, renewal, and the promise that light always follows even the darkest moments.

From all of us at Morning Pointe Senior Living, we wish you a joyful and blessed Easter.

This is one of the hardest questions families face. 🏡

Should your parent stay at home, or is it time for more support? There’s no one right answer, and for many, the shift happens slowly, not all at once.

At Morning Pointe Senior Living, we often hear the same thing from families: they want to know their loved one is safe, supported, and able to truly enjoy each day.

If you’ve been asking what the right next step looks like, this week’s Understanding Senior Living blog walks through what to look for and how to think through the decision with clarity.

Help us celebrate someone who makes a difference every day 💛

We’re excited to announce Kaitlyn Baker as our Associate of the Month for April. As a receptionist here at our Russell community, Kaitlyn is often the first smile you see and is such an important part of our Morning Pointe family.

Kaitlyn shared, “I enjoy supporting the residents at Morning Pointe and making a positive difference in their daily lives. Caring for them, listening to their stories, and helping create a comfortable environment means a lot to me.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, whether that’s relaxing, taking road trips, exploring new places, or going to concerts. We’re so thankful for the care and positivity she brings to our community each day ✨
