CBMC WELCOMES GYNECOLOGIST DR. JENNA SLOAN TO MEDICAL TEAM

Clara Barton Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Jenna Sloan, OB/GYN, to its Surgical Clinic, expanding services to include Gynecology care. Dr. Sloan will provide specialized women's health clinic visits, in-office procedures, and surgical care in Hoisington.

A board-certified gynecologist and obstetrician, Dr. Sloan brings nearly a decade of experience in women’s health to the Barton County area. A native of Grainfield/Hoxie, Kansas, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University before completing medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas.

Dr. Sloan provides a wide range of gynecologic services, including well-woman exams, preventive screenings such as Pap smears, contraceptive counseling, and IUD placement, as well as various in-office procedures. Her clinical interests include helping women manage conditions such as endometriosis, heavy and irregular menstrual cycles, perimenopause and menopause symptoms, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, infertility, vulvar conditions, and more.

In addition, Dr. Sloan brings advanced surgical expertise in laparoscopic and robotic procedures, hysteroscopy, and other minimally invasive and traditional techniques.

“I am very excited to provide gynecology and women’s health services to patients in Hoisington and the surrounding communities of central and western Kansas,” said Dr. Sloan. “Clara Barton has a wonderful team of committed and caring staff, and it is my honor to get to work alongside them.”

Dr. Sloan and her husband have been married for 13 years and live on a farm in central Kansas with their three children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, gravel bike riding, traveling, and watching Kansas State University sports with her family.

“Adding Dr. Sloan to our team represents an exciting step forward in our continued growth," said Clara Barton Medical Center CEO Jay Tusten. "Her skillset and experience allow us to offer a broader scope of women’s health services right here in Hoisington, ensuring our patients can receive exceptional care without having to travel far from home.”
