Check on your family and friends 🧡

If you have ever thought of ending your life, then you know the feeling behind the words echoed by Richard Russel on August 10th, 2018. Behind the jokes and the laughs, are tiny inflictions of typically unspoken “self truths” that, to those who have experienced, say to themselves out loud in the moments before we choose life or death.

Addiction can feel like that too. Not just based on the relationship between the addiction disease and mental illness, but because of the self hate and self isolating thoughts that show up over and over again, both in activity and recovery.

But I just want to say this, to all of those who see this that are suffering from something, you are not a burden. You are not wasting anyone’s time. You are not a disappointment.

Whether you believe it or not, there is always someone out there rooting for you to want to get the help you need, or take the actions you need to get you to where you want to be in life, and light.

If you want help with mental health, 988 is a text or call away armed with the resources that can bring you relief.

If you want help with addiction treatment, send us a message via Facebook, Instagram, or email (addictionaidnetworknfp@outlook.com) and we will do what we can to connect you to the resources you need.

Naloxone only reverses overdoses caused by opioids like fentanyl. But because fentanyl might be unknowingly present alongside medetomidine, co***ne, or counterfeit pills, you should always give naloxone for any suspected overdose. Even if you’re not sure what the person may have taken, naloxone won’t hurt them.

When in doubt, give it. It could save a life.

Please welcome University of Pittsburgh student Elsa! My name is Elsa Fura, and I am in my second professional year (P2 student). I am very excited to be joining Palmer Pharmacy for my upcoming rotation and to learn from the wide range of patient-centered services your team provides. The emphasis Palmer’s places on innovative community care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and hands-on involvement aligns strongly with what I hope to gain from this experience.

Hello! My name is Ryan Augustine. I grew up in West Deer Township and still live here today. Some of my fondest childhood memories include playing peewee soccer and tee ball at Bairdford Park. Even now, my family and I love stopping by Edwards for an ice cream cone on warm summer evenings.

I attended North Catholic High School and am currently in my sixth and final year of pharmacy school at Ohio Northern University. This month (February 2026), I’m completing a rotation at Palmer Pharmacy, and I’m set to graduate in May.

I’ve already learned a tremendous amount during my first week here. I’m excited to continue growing, contributing to our local community, and furthering my education throughout the rest of the rotation.

Our Story

Why CHOOSE an Independent Pharmacy? Palmer Pharmacy has a rich history of over 100 years in the community. We are proud to be independent because it means we are able to accomplish just as much, if not more, than what corporate pharmacies do without sacrificing the customer service. Our patients can always count on us to provide them with the attention they need to make their healthcare more accessible. From calling patient doctors, helping people save money on much needed medications, managing and organizing medications, and so much more, we find real solutions to patient problems. We are a local buisness that gives back to its community and offers job shadowing opportunites for students. At Palmer Pharmacy you are family, not just a number. Please Tell a friend about us! If you haven't heard of us or are tired of your current pharmacy then now Is it time to switch and all you have to do is call us at 724-265-1632 and we will take care of the rest.
