Pride demands to be understood first. Humility seeks to understand.

Pride says, “I’m right.” Humility says, “Help me see what I’m missing.”

Humility isn’t weakness, it’s the soil where connection, healing, safety, and intimacy grow. And the only reason humility is even possible is because Jesus modeled it first (Philippians 2:5–8).

If you want a marriage that continues to grow...soften, don’t harden, lean in, not away. And let Jesus shape your posture before you try to shape your spouse.

Mental Illness vs. Demon possession

The Bible doesn’t blur the lines between sickness and demonic activity—it draws them clearly. Jesus healed physical diseases like leprosy and blindness, but He also cast out demons that caused torment beyond the natural realm.

Yes, mental illness is real. And yes, demonic influence is real. A mental health expert once admitted that some cases go beyond psychology. But how do we discern the difference?
📖 Scripture is our guide:

Demonic possession shows supernatural strength, knowledge, and a distinct personality.
Physical and mental illness are part of the fallen human condition—but not always spiritual in nature.

⚠️ Christians, take heart: If you belong to Jesus, you cannot be demon possessed. The Holy Spirit lives in you. But spiritual affliction? That’s real—and we must stand firm.
Let’s be wise. Don’t rush to label every struggle as demonic. Seek biblical truth, pastoral counsel, and professional help when needed.

👑 The answer is always Jesus. He has authority over every sickness and every spirit. Let’s lead people to Him.
