As many of you know, our beloved little town of Ruston was hit by a tornado in the early hours of Thursday, April 25th. Thank you to the many sweet ladies who have reached out to me checking on us. Our houses are fine. The path of the tornado went directly over the area where Just Like You is. Miraculously, our little shop (which was built in 1938) is perfectly fine. Many of our neighbors were not nearly as fortunate. A mother and her son were killed when a tree fell on their house just a couple of blocks away. The shopping center across the street sustained catastrophic damage, and the hotel located on our exit had the roof ripped off. We are still without power and phones, but hope to be back up and running next week. Ruston is an amazing community filled with people with true servant’s hearts, and I have no doubt we will recover stronger than ever. Continue praying for those who lost loved ones and for the business & property owners who will be picking up the pieces of their lives in the coming months. The following pictures show where Just Like You is in relation to some of the pictures you are seeing in the media. I am so very thankful for God’s protection around our little store, and I am heartbroken for the devastation around us.
