💙 NLMC 💙When our community needed us most, our team stepped up—together. 💙

During extreme winter weather conditions, Northern Louisiana Medical Center employees, including our dedicated ER nurses and clinical teams, worked side by side with local partners to ensure a critical patient transfer could safely take place.

With the helipad frozen solid, staff didn’t hesitate—grabbing shovels, clearing ice by hand, and doing whatever it took to prepare for a helicopter landing so this patient could be transferred for the care they needed.

💙 Now Recruiting Volunteers – Northern Louisiana Medical Center Auxiliary 💙

NLMC is proud to partner with the Northern Louisiana Medicalcal Center Auxiliary, a dedicated group of volunteers who make a meaningful difference every day for our patients, families, and visitors.

We are currently seeking new Auxiliary members who are interested in giving back to their community. Volunteers assist in areas such as:
• Information Desk
• ICU & Surgery Waiting Areas
• Gift Shop

💙 Thank You, NLMC Auxiliary 💙

The NLMC Auxiliary recently donated new waiting room furniture to Northern Louisiana Medical Center, allowing four waiting areas to be updated—including PCU/Med Surgery, ICU, the Atrium, and the Cardiology waiting room pictured here.

Since 1962, the Auxiliary has faithfully supported Northern Louisiana Medical Center through volunteer service and generous donations that enhance the experience of patients, families, visitors, and staff. We are grateful for their continued commitment and the difference they make every day.
