December’s Resident Choice Award was chosen by residents, families, and vendors. Kaitlyn is truly an asset to Oakland. Some things the voters said about her were- She is kind. She is a good med tech. She really knows her job. She listens. She cares.
We couldn’t agree more with what everyone said! Thank you Kait for all you do! We appreciate you!

This evening we celebrated Christmas with the staff of Oakland. The faces. The heart. The hands of what we do. I know many places say, we have the best team….but when I say WE HAVE THE BEST TEAM, it is truly meant. I see these faces smile though hard times. I see them push though when we don’t think we can. I see them cry when situations get sad. I see them love when things seem unloveable. I see the hugs just because someone needs one. I see them!! Every single day!! They show up and they are seen! They are loved. They are appreciated. They could be anywhere and they CHOOSE to be here! Forever thankful for Oakland and the staff that we have been so blessed with. This is the best team ❤️
