My Story

I am the President of Sales & Marketing at AHC Ventures Corp, the parent company of CryoDerm. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker since 1999, an Approved Provider of Continuing Education under the NCBTMB since 2000, and am a frequent contributor to trade magazines, including the regular ethics column, The Heart of Bodywork, which appears in each issue of Massage & Bodywork Magazine. I am also the author of numerous books and over 300 blogs. In addition to writing, I also ghostwrite and edit books for other authors.

I am a past Silver Award Winner of the Massage Therapy Foundation’s Professional Case Report contest, a past Massage Therapist of the Year awarded at the American Massage Conference, and a 2011 inductee into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame. I maintain a small private practice, but am currently on hiatus from doing massage therapy until at least 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are interested in having me teach at your school or AMTA chapter, send a message or call 828-289-5047.
