Today marked the start of our Christmas dress-up days! 🎅🎄
Today’s theme was Tree Topper Day, and our staff and residents had so much fun wearing their favorite hats and festive headbands!

We kicked off the day with an energetic snowball fight, bringing lots of laughter and smiles. This afternoon, we pulled out the craft box and residents created beautiful wreaths and signs to hang on their doors!

We wrapped up the day with some exciting games of bingo! Congratulations to Gary and Phyllis, who both scored double blackouts!

We had a great group today for Community Coffee! Kathy Coleman spoiled us with pizzelles along with apple and peach topping — and they were absolutely delicious!

Just a reminder that Community Coffee is open to everyone. Come join our residents and community members every Friday at 2:00 for coffee, conversation, and a tasty treat! ☕

Our residents were busy crafting today! We started by painting ornaments to display on our Christmas tree. After hanging them up to dry, we pulled out the stockings and got to work making each one our own. Both the ornaments and the stockings turned out so cute!

Our residents braved the cold today and headed out for some shopping, and a stop at Monterey’s! They stocked up on everything they needed and enjoyed a delicious meal together. ❄️

Tonight our nursing home and assisted living were filled with holiday cheer as we welcomed visitors from Zion Lutheran Church! The carolers read and sang the story of Jesus Christ and shared a few traditional Christmas carols—some of our residents even joined in and sang along! Everyone enjoyed seeing the children and listening to their beautiful voices. It was a wonderful way to brighten our evening!⭐️
