Petra's Wellness Studio Wellness Studio Petra O’Neill, Petra‘s Wellness Studio's sole practitioner, has provided holistic, integrated therapeutic wellness in Vermont since 1996.

Petra's Wellness Studio is located at The Dana Center, -8, 41 East Center Street, Rutland, VT, 05701 (parking and entrance in the back of the building). A private soothing environment where guests experience customized services, classes, and events. Services include Massage, Skin Treatments, Yoga, Reiki, Yomassage, and Nutrition.

​Virtual Studio: Functional Nutrition Counseling, Long Distance Healing, Absent Reiki, Zoom Yoga, Skin Care tutorials with Dermalogica, and Wellness Wednesday. FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION
As a Functional Nutrition Counselor, I will work with you and help you create new routines and habits that will improve your digestion, lower inflammation, and reduce stress.
1. The first step is to schedule a complimentary 30 Consultation Session - In this discovery session, our conversation will discuss your struggles, establish your goals, and the process of working together.
2. Health History Session - We review your health history to get a complete picture. Petra will listen to your concerns and ask questions to get clarity on the next steps towards creating an action plan.
3. Strategy Session - After considering your health history and our conversation from the first session, Petra will share some resources and tools. Together, we will create an action plan based on the information gathered and your health goals. Premier Client Review $280. Following the Premier Client Review Sessions mentioned above, individual coaching is available for continued support.

REIKI
Reiki ~ 60 min $90, 3 - 45 min sessions $210
Absent Reiki ~ 60 min $90, 3 - 45 min sessions $210. Reiki Level I & II Certificate Course ~ $600
Private Restorative Yoga with Reiki ~ 60 min $90
Reiki and Restorative Yoga group class, schedule posted on website. In Japanese, (ray-key) means "universal life energy". This treatment opens up and balances the chakras, increases energy flow throughout the body's meridians, and brings a deep state of relaxation. Absent Reiki is a useful method of healing when physical distancing is recommended. Reiki Level I Class - Learn the essence of Reiki. The history of Reiki and applications of Reiki, practice doing Reiki on yourself and others, and receive attunements. You leave class with a certificate and virtual notebook, fully trained to do Reiki on yourself, others, plants, and animals. Reiki Level II Class - Reiki II focuses and intensifies Reiki I energy. You learn how to apply the Empowerment symbol to enhance what you learned in Reiki I. Second Degree Reiki Certification Class teaches three ancient, powerful, healing symbols. Highly effective, these symbols support healing and expansion in all areas of life, both for yourself and others. These sacred symbols are the key to why Reiki is a path that can lead to enlightenment and inner peace. YOGA

1. Tuesday’s 12:30 PM Restorative Yoga (and Yoga Nidra).

2. Wednesday's 12:30 PM Chair Yoga (and Subtle Yoga).

2. Thursday’s 12:30 PM Kripalu Yoga (and Mindfulness Yoga). These Yoga classes explore monthly themes and highlights of the Chakras and Astrology.

~A relaxing form of massage; applying long, gentle strokes under light to medium pressure. This technique helps the nervous system, works out muscle tension and soreness, increases circulation, and relieves stress.
~Aromatherapy ~ The use of pure essential oils will deeply relax and stimulate the senses to create and enhance healing and rejuvenation.
~ LaStone Massage 80-minutes $140. The use of hot basalt stones and chilled marble stones blended with massage techniques. Thermotherapy aids in physical healing, detoxification, and an immune system booster. ZERO BALANCING
After listening to your goals; evaluates and balance key areas throughout the body, first with you sitting, then lying face up, fully clothed. A treatment releases deep tension in bones, joints, and soft tissue. Afterward, you may feel lighter, freer, energized, and more in tune with yourself. Zero Balancing focuses primarily on key joints of our skeleton that conduct and balance forces of gravity, posture, and movement.

​YOMASSAGE
~ Yomassage private session ~ 60 min $90 session, 3- 45 min for $210
A fusion of relaxing and supported restorative Yoga postures, massage therapy, and mindfulness. The client holds each pose with support from bolsters, blocks, and blankets for around five minutes while massage techniques are applied to different parts of the body that are available. The combination of touch, gentle stretch, and mindfulness provides an avenue for relaxation and healing.

LONG DISTANCE HEALING
A meditative technique connects energetically to facilitate your physical healing on many levels. This is a conversation with parts of your physical body that are complaining and in need of my “touch” and therapeutic skills. Turning inward calms your nervous system. This dialog helps you return to thinking more clearly and creatively when circumstances are challenging and stressful.

Couples Yoga not only strengthens the body, but also creates confidence, synchrony and emotional bonding. Each posture becomes a practice of mutual support, shared breathing and harmony.

🔹 1. Back to back meditation

They both sit in comfortable position, leaning their backs.
✨ Benefit: Synchronizes breathing and calms the mind.

🔹 2. Double Spinal Spin

Sitting back to back, turning in opposite directions.
✨ Benefit: Flexes the spine and releases tension.

🔹 3. Mountain into Tree

Standing, side to side, arms outstretched.
✨ Benefit: Improves balance and joint energy.

🔹 4. Supported Warrior

One in warrior stance, one back holds.
✨ Benefit: strength, stability and confidence.

🔹 5. Frontal stretch

Sitting they stretch forward holding hands.
✨ Benefit: Hip opening and deep stretching.

🔹 6. Connection Posture

face to face, holding hands or hugging.
✨ Benefit: Strengthens intimacy and communication.

Both in warrior pose, holding hands.

Weekend Reflection ~

With each year I become more grounded,
As my soul becomes more free,
I've grown roots that keep me stable,
I'm finally enjoying being me.

Life is now rich with simplicity,
I avoid the drama that some may bring,
I'm happy in my own company,
My heart has learned how to sing.

In each new silver hair I rejoice,
Aging is a blessing, some never know,
My journey has brought me so far,
And hopefully, still, some way to go.

I cherish each precious moment,
The laughter shared, the silent peace,
In every chapter, I now stand stoic,
With wisdom my worries cease.

So here's to the years that shape and mold,
With knowledge gained and stories to tell,

November's chill drifts in the air,
Days grow short, nights long and bare.
Leaves have fallen, death is near,
As we reflect on life this year.

Remembrance Day calls us to pause,
And honour those who fought for our cause.
A somber month, but also a chance,
To be thankful for life's sacred dance.
