Program Spotlight: Perinatal Peer Support
Check out the video below to learn more about the Perinatal Peer Support program offered by the Early Childhood Services team at CCN-RMHS!
Perinatal Peer Support is a new service designed specifically to assist pregnant and postpartum parents experiencing mood or anxiety challenges. The program connects parents with trained peer support providers – individuals who have personally navigated pregnancy or postpartum-related emotional challenges, and are ready to provide compassionate, judgement-free support. Among various objectives, the program aims to help new parents feel less alone, more understood, and better supported as they adjust to the demands and emotions of early parenthood.
