Alright yâall, letâs be real for a second. I know I canât whine to my friends up north⌠but for us Southernersâthis cold hits different. 𼜠When the sun disappears and the chill hangs around, itâs easy for your mood to follow suit. Here are my 8 tried-and-true, natural ways to kick the winter blues to the curb and keep life feeling brightâeven when itâs BRRRR outside.
1ď¸âŁ Get outside (yes, even when itâs cold).
Bundle up and take a short walk. Fresh air resets your body clock, calms the nerves, and boosts serotonin. Old-fashioned advice for a reasonâit works.
2ď¸âŁ Keep your sleep routine boring (and consistent).
Same bedtime. Same wake-up. Every day. It keeps cortisol in check and hormones happy. Protect your sleep like itâs sacredâbecause it is.
