Heart to Hand has dropped off their collection box at the pharmacy today. For those of you that don't know, these ladies do this yearly to collect food and monetary donations to help feed children in Grainger County while they are out on their 2 week Christmas break. These children depend on getting two of their meals while at school so when they are out on breaks, they may not know where their meals will come from. Or what they will do. Thankfully these ladies step in to help fill that need by placing these boxes at different places in the county to collect the items needed. I don't know about you, but it hurts my heart to know that there are children in our front door that may be going hungry. We have the opportunity to do our little part in making sure that doesn't happen. So, with that being said, if you would like to drop off items...please do so. If you can't make it by here, there is a box at Doyle's Auto Parts as well. I'm attaching an old flyer with items that they collect from year to year to give you an idea of what's needed. Thank you all in advance for helping us to help them with this. If you aren't able to give, pray for these ladies and all the families that will be helped through this organization.
