Meet Megan- Treatment Coordinator

“Hi ! My name is Megan and I am the treatment coordinator at Rutledge Family Dental.
I have been in the dental field going on 14 years with experience both in the front office and as a surgical assistant in Georgia, Kansas and Alaska! Having knowledge as an assistant is a big help to explaining patients' treatment to them so they have a full understanding of what to expect. While I was a surgical assistant in oral surgery, I was able to get my certificate in IV placement and love a good vein. My greatest blessings are my loving partner, Michael, and my three kids: Owen, Dallas, and Kylea. As well as our precious 4 legged companion, Daisy. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and love a good laugh. Some things I enjoy doing together are going on adventures, listening to music, DIY projects around the house, and ending the day with movie night or family board or card games. We're a bulldog family through and through, whether it's cheering on UGA or our Morgan County Bulldogs. GO DAWGS!! Meet Angel- Dental Assistant

“My name is Angel Cruz, and I’m from Covington, GA. I am 21 years old and I’ve been a dental assistant for going on 3 years. I love helping patients feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. I enjoy working closely with the dental team and supporting a smooth, positive experience for every patient. One of my favorite parts of my job is building connections with my patients and help them make their time in the office as stress-free as possible. I believe going to the dentist should feel comfortable, personal, and stress-free. I studied at the University of Idaho and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School in 1997. I’ve spent over 18 years owning and caring for family dental practices in Oregon and Washington, and I love helping patients create natural, confident smiles—so feel free to ask me about yours. When I’m not in the office, I’m spending time with my wife, Chris, and our seven kids. We love board games, road trips, music, and laughing together as much as possible. “Hi! My name is Sara, and I’m from Madison, GA. I graduated from Athens Technical College with a degree in dental hygiene. I’ve often been asked what made me want to go into dental hygiene. When I was younger, I enjoyed going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. I loved the atmosphere of the dental office I went to while growing up, and I believe this sparked my interest in the field. I enjoy helping patients return to a healthy oral status.
