Some pics from my final two weeks of a six month Ghosh Yoga Advanced Teacher Training with the extraordinary Scott & Ida. Wow 🕺
A day in the life: 8am - 9:30am pranayama & meditation (requires sitting still 🫣) 10am - 12pm advanced posture practice 💪🏽 2pm - 6pm presentations, lectures and teaching practice 🤓. A big shout out to my fellow advanced yogis- we did it 🥳, and my peeps back at home, thank you for your support 🥰🌵 I’ll be weaving in some must do poses in all my classes most specifically the Core 26+ class (it’s a fresh, elevated approach to the Original 26, a full-body hot yoga workout with holds, targeted drills, and hip-openers that build strength, stability, and awareness) There are tons of studios around the globe practicing Ghosh Yoga, check it out here at Yogafreak💛

Wrist-friendly arm balance: Tiger Pose (Prep) aka - Pincha Mayurasana. Builds arms + shoulders strength without stressing the wrists. Pro tip: elbows hug in under shoulders—don’t let them splay out like a “V.” Mayurasana

Treat your feet! 👣 I like to sneak this toe-tucked seated position into class—it helps open the toes and stretch the fascia and connective tissue in the soles, a much-needed reset for feet that spend most of the day in shoes.

told me awhile back her go-to abs move is bicycles - now they’re mine too! Especially S L O W bikes 🚴‍♂️ 🔥 Simple, efficient and straight to the abs + obliques.

One of my favorite pre-pose warm-ups! Squat all the way down (hips to heels), lift onto toes, exhale and curl in (forehead to knees). •Stretches your back and the soles of your feet 👣 • Abs contract (focus on the exhale!).
• Knees flexed to full range of motion.
