Lately I’ve been reminded how much stability and support matter — not just in our personal lives, but in the lives of the families we serve.

Every week I hear from adult children who are trying to balance careers, caregiving, and real life. It’s a lot. And sometimes the smallest bit of clarity or guidance makes all the difference.

That’s one thing I’m grateful for in this work: the chance to make someone’s week feel a little lighter.

Not selling anything — just appreciating the meaningful connections this field brings.

I just saw my eight-year anniversary reminder on LinkedIn — and wow, what a ride it’s been.

Eight years ago, we started Coastal Transitions of Maine — what began as an idea between two women determined to make senior care navigation easier for families.

From a small start to a trusted statewide resource, we’ve grown through dedication, relationships, and an unwavering commitment to doing right by our clients.

I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built and the difference we’ve made in so many families’ lives.
