my machines will be back running this week i am so happy!!!! i also will be starting to get the room organized and cleaned up. i’ll be have a special price on all quilting and grand opening i hope by May but we shall see. in the meantime i have some pretty pieces hmmm can you guess what i might be making next?

my husband had food poisoning he did feel better today and got the walls painted poor guy don’t buy prepackaged meat from hannafords and yes corporate knows.

Primer is done. The paint and flooring will be started next weekend. I started to get upset with my husband i need to work and i felt as though he was dragging his feet but i had to remember i can’t help him anymore than i have and he’s doing the best he can from working all week and then downstairs. it’s a lot for him. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. i can honestly say i should be setting up shelves and cabinets in 2 weeks. I will say he did an excellent job on the sheetrock and mud!
i’m only showing small areas i want to save the reveal for when it’s finished

I think it’s finish except for 1 butterfly 🦋 i want to add. I’m still not sure about that big orange bird. i’m running out of things to finish i really need my room done so close yet so far away im getting depressed 😔

this weekend we are priming and starting the flooring (i’ll paint in the spring) i’m so ready you have no idea. i have been sewing almost finished my secret garden quilt just a few more appliqué pieces and two more blocks on my purple quilt. it is not easy considering 70% of this pattern i had to figure out myself because it was an very old pattern that basically said “Good Luck” 🤣

This weekend we start going down hill just checking the mud and a quick sanding. I will be cleaning forever. I still have sheetrock dust upstairs which i hope will be better when i can get my windows and doors open. When cleaning it just kind of moves it around in the air. Then i can start painting and on to the flooring. I can’t wait to get to finally organizing my studio!!! This has been way too long with quilts waiting to be done and I will not risk them getting dirty. It’s been hard because I have to cover my entire machines especially the computers every time i stop working. Again thank you for your patience ❤️. Oh and my husband has made new friends here. They visit our backyard almost every night.
