Being inspired by the other Chiropractors in his Family he began his Chiropractic journey in 1983 at Life West Chiropractic College where he flourished as a student. He graduated with honors in 1986 and began working as an associate doctor in Danville, California. He knew that he wanted to have his own practice where he could incorporate nutrition with Chiropractic care for his patients to achieve optimal health and wellness and opened HealthQuest Chiropractic in Sacramento in 1990. He has since moved to his current location at 391 Howe Avenue where he continues to provide the best service to the community. Dr Syl believes that the body has the ability to heal itself from most conditions and diseases when the spine and nervous system are without interference, and when a healthy diet and lifestyle are practiced.

Dr Syl specializes is treating acute and chronic conditions due to spinal misalignments, metabolic disorders, arthritis, and degenerative joint disease. Some of the most common conditions are;
