UPCOMING COVID VACCINE! STILL LOOKING FOR THAT CURE!

Northern California Research is working with a major pharma company on a new trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of how well a new version of the COVID19 vaccine works against newer variants of the virus. Our new trial will focus on a special group of people ages 50-64 both male and female. Duration of this trial will be 6 months and require 3-5 clinic visits. Compensation will be provided and there will be no cost for medical care of vaccines.

Some criteria to consider:
50-64 years old
NOT received a COVID vaccine 3 months prior to day one of study entry
Nursing home residents are not able to participate
Generally healthy
Certain medications will be prohibited
During a screening phone call other criteria may apply

ASTHMA CLINICAL TRIAL ENROLLING NOW! sthma is a chronic respiratory condition where the airways in the lungs become inflamed and narrowed, making it difficult to breathe. This inflammation can cause symptoms like coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. Asthma can be triggered by various factors, including allergens, exercise, or respiratory infections. We are currently looking for volunteers for two asthma clinical trials. 1) A new inhaled delivery system with combination FDA approved medication to meet the global legislative changes impacting future inhaler availability. Compensation up to $1040. 2) New treatment combination with dry powder inhaler with an integrated electronic module, ages 12 and older. Compensation up to $300 plus mileage and meal allowance. . Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease/Emphysema Clinical Trial Now Enrolling

Think about becoming our next volunteer with a novel nebulizer treatment for those suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or Emphysema. The trial will last just over one month and the nebulizer will be provided to those who enroll. Certain criteria will apply so please call the office for a more extensive screening. Here are a few things to consider!

Enrollment criteria:
Looking for ages 40-80
Compensation up to $1800 for completing the trial
Taking a stable dose of inhalers either long acting or short acting
Must be willing to do a chest X-ray as part of the trial
Current or former smoker
Be willing to complete 5 visits to the clinic plus 2 telephone calls
Be willing to take a breathing test known as a PFT

Busy Internal Medicine independent practice looking for an experienced Medical Assistant that will be the perfect fit to join our team. You would be multitasking, and organization will suit you well. Primary job description includes processing referrals to specialists, COZEVA, busy phones, triaging incoming calls, medical records, LIMITED back office needs, ie: ECG, blood draws, and injections. and administering vaccines if qualified. We require a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant/Referral Coordinator. Please save some time and do not apply if you do not fit this criteria. The position is Monday-Friday.
