Hi 👋🏻 Welcome to the new Share Haus. I space for healing, connection, and - you guessed it - sharing!

My name is Sherilynn if we haven’t met. I ran a nutrition coaching business for 4 years, and through that opened up a Holistic Healing Studio called Share Haus in Sacramento about 6 months before COVID began.
•
Through both practices (along with yoga teacher training and conversations with friends) I discovered my true passion and dharma/purpose on this Earth is to hold a safe space for others. I decided to go back to school to get my Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy a year and a half ago.

I have been accepted into 2 schools and right before beginning to attend the Universe has had other plans. The new plan is to begin in January of 2023, but my passion and purpose of holding space for people does not have to wait.

The new Share Haus is my Lifestyle Coaching Business. It is a safe space to talk, heal, and build a lifestyle that supports your long-term healing.

I created Share Haus in 2019 to create a safe space for the humans of Sacramento to come and find healing. We did that through infrared sauna, yoga, massage therapy, and through sharing.

That last part is what Share Haus was always about even though I didn’t know it yet. Providing a safe space to share what is going on in your life.

It is through Share Haus that I discovered that becoming a therapist is the next right step for me. Unfortunately, life keeps throwing my curve balls, so that is going to be a little bit down the road. I have, however, decided to learn how to hit one of those curve balls and transform my coaching business and Share Haus into something new and exciting.

A year ago! Wow! Sometimes I can’t believe how much has happened in a year. This feels like a lifetime ago. Anywho...
A year ago I opened a popup version of a Holistic Healing Center I *still* am planning on opening up someday. The amount of support I got from my community in Sacramento *still* means everything to me. Because of y’all I know I can do this again when I am ready and I find the next right home for Share Haus.
This didn’t go at all how I planned it to go. I moved twice, had a deposit in on a new place, and then the pandemic hit and it hit California HARD!
Today I hold space and send love to all of my other healer friends and small business owner friends - some who are starting to be able to go back to their work, some who are still unable to do so. Y’all are amazing!
When I decided not to re-open Share Haus in Sacramento, it was one of the hardest decisions that I have ever made. However, moving to Texas was the best decision for me and my family and that continues to be reiterated the longer I am here. I am currently looking at spaces in Dallas, working on creating an online platform that combines Re-New You with Share Haus, and still offers a safe space for y’all to come and shut out the outside world to find healing.

This is not an easy post to write, but after many weeks of thinking, talking with my family, and the making of so many pro/con lists I have made the decision to close Share Haus for now. Thank you all for your continued support during this transition, I have loved getting to connect with y’all and am so sad to not get to see your faces weekly/bi-weekly/monthly!

Another go-to in our house - we literally make this almost every single week because we almost always have the ingredients on hand and it is so delicious.⁠⠀⁠⠀
PRO-TIP: add in greens (like kale or chard) during the last 4 minutes of the cooking the potatoes covered or serve hash on top of a bed of raw arugula for some added nutrients.⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀

These are such powerful words from the beloved Ram Dass, and have a whole different level of meaning for the situation we are currently in. How can you be here, now in this time? How can you take what is happening and turn them into lessons for how to live a more fulfilling life now and when things return to "normal?" This time is forcing us to live in the present moment and that can be such a gift if we let it be!⁠
