Heavenly Father,
We come before You together as the board, staff, and servants of Alternatives Pregnancy Center, acknowledging that You are our helper and sustainer. As it is written, “God is our helper; the Lord is the upholder of our lives” (Psalm 54:4). In every wilderness season of this ministry, we trust that You are near guiding us, sustaining us, and preserving this work just as You did for David.
Lord, in a ministry that stands for life and the truth of the gospel, we know we may face pressure, confusion, and opposition. But remind us that You are still in control. Just as You protected David when Saul pursued him and redirected events at the perfect moment (1 Samuel 23:26–28), redirect what needs redirecting in this ministry. Close doors that lead to harm and open paths that lead to Your purpose…for every patient, every family, and every decision. We stand on Your truth: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
Teach us, as leaders and servants, to seek You first in every decision we make. Give us hearts that pause instead of react especially in moments of urgency, conflict, or emotional weight. When we are tempted to take matters into our own hands, remind us of David in the cave that even when he had the opportunity, he chose restraint (1 Samuel 24:10). Help us trust Your timing in this ministry and not force outcomes, knowing that You are the One who changes hearts and fulfills Your promises.
Jesus, we see You in David’s restraint and righteousness. You are our greater King. “When He was reviled, He did not revile in return… but entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly” (1 Peter 2:23). Form that same spirit in us as we serve women, men, and families. Let us walk as You walked (1 John 2:6) with compassion, truth, humility, and unwavering love.
Father, guard our hearts and root us deeply in Your love because that is what matters most. In a ministry where we may feel misunderstood, criticized, slandered, or spiritually opposed, keep us from responding in ways that dishonor You. Just as Abigail’s wisdom stopped David from sin (1 Samuel 25:32–33), place wise voices within our team and leadership. Give us unity, humility, and the ability to listen well. Let discernment, peace, and the leading of Your Spirit guide every conversation, every appointment, and every decision.
Lord, when we face betrayal, slander, injustice, or discouragement in this work, help us bring it to You instead of carrying it or becoming bitter. As David prayed, “He will return the evil to my enemies… in Your faithfulness put an end to them”(Psalm 54:5), we release our desire to defend ourselves. Let the faithfulness of our lives and this ministry speak for itself. Your Word says, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord” (Romans 12:19). We trust You as our defender and righteous judge.
Lord Jesus, You understand betrayal and rejection. You were betrayed by one close to You, yet You still chose the cross…for life, redemption, and truth. Because of this, we bring every burden of this ministry to You. We bring the emotional weight, the hard cases, the unseen struggles. “Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen us to worship even in difficult seasons, just as David praised You in the middle of trouble (Psalm 54:6).
Shape our character in the hidden places of this ministry. When no one sees the long hours, the quiet prayers, the hard conversations…in those moments Lord, build in us integrity, patience, humility, and obedience. Let us honor one another and those we serve, even when situations are difficult. Let every interaction reflect Your heart for life, truth, and grace.
Thank You, Jesus, that You are the true refuge of this ministry You are our protector, provider, and foundation. You are the greater King that David’s life pointed to. As it is written, “For He has delivered us from every trouble” (Psalm 54:7), we stand in faith that You will carry Alternatives Pregnancy Center through every challenge and use it for Your glory.Through You, we are victorious, for “in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”(Romans 8:37).
We surrender this medical ministry - our timing, our responses, our strategies, our burdens, and our future completely into Your hands. Lead us, shape us, and help us reflect Christ in all we do as a women's free medical clinic that is unapologetically pro-gospel, pro-woman, and pro-life witness to the world.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, Amen!
Thank you all for praying with us over this ministry. This is the greatest gift You can give us. 💕🙋♀️
