Our office has now reopened for eyecare services. Effective May 4th, 2020, The Sacramento County Department of Public Health is permitting patients to resume seeing us for their routine eyecare needs. We have instituted strict social distancing and disinfection protocols (see below) to maintain your health and safety:

*General health screenings will be performed prior to being admitted to the office.
*Face masks required for patients and staff
*Only one patient will be permitted in the office for exam services at any one time
*We will request spouses, partners, other family, or friends to wait outside.
*All patient touch points will be thouroghly disinfected before each patient using CDC approved procedures.

To Our Patients Regarding Covid-19 Pandemic

​At this time, our practice is restricting non-essential appointments and walk-ins.

Patient safety as well as the safety of our Staff is always our priority at Natomas Eyeworks. Information about COVID-19 is changing daily and we are continually reassessing how our practice should respond to the increased risks.

We are navigating the best ways to handle this dynamic situation by monitoring Federal, State, and Local health authority guidelines.

If you have an urgent concern, please call our office at (916) 285-9000. If you have a sight threatening ocular emergency, call 911.

If you have run out of contact lenses or have broken or lost your glasses, we can usually ship replacements to your home. Please call us for further information.

To Our Patients Regarding Covid-19
Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking all our patients who are considered high risk, to postpone non-essential excursions outside their homes in order to reduce risk of contracting COVID-19. This includes anyone over the age of 60, pregnant or nursing mothers, and anyone who is immunocompromised.

Although our office staff is vigilant about following State of California, CDC, and AOA guidelines, sanitizing all surfaces and eyewear, disinfecting all equipment, and common areas, we nonetheless wish to avoid risking the health of our most vulnerable patients with unnecessary exposure to others who may be contagious but asymptomatic.

In an effort to further protect our patients and staff, we ask that you all are mindful of the following precautions:
If you are sick, or if you have had contact with someone who is ill or are caring for someone at risk, please stay home

If you have an ocular emergency or any urgent issue, please call us to schedule a telephone consultation. If the doctor determines that he cannot resolve an urgent concern without seeing you in person, we will arrange an appointment at at a time that maximizes social distance.

If you have run out of contact lenses or have broken or lost your glasses, we can usually ship replacements to your home.

Until further notice the office remains open for all your needs.

We would like to share some exciting news with you. Magdalena Thomas, mother of our patient Jeremiah Thomas, has just published a new children's book. The Adventures of Spike & Jeremiah, which is a delightful story about Jeremiah and his pet dragon Spike. We wish Magdalena and Jeremiah much success with their book.
