Applications are open for our April 2026 Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Training 🌱

This free, flexible training is designed for peers who want to turn lived experience into meaningful support for others. Participants complete live Zoom sessions alongside independent learning and gain the skills needed to meet California’s Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification requirements.

What is Offered:
• 80 hours of live and pre-recorded peer instruction
• Career planning and individualized support
• Access to job placement resources and mentorship
• A supportive learning community that understands lived experience

📣 Applications for our March 2026 Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Training are now open!

If you’re interested in becoming a certified Peer Support Specialist, this is a great opportunity to start your journey. Our free, state-approved training includes 80 hours of live instruction and independent work, plus career mentoring, job-search support, and access to our WISE U Peer Job Portal.

Training runs throughout March, with live Zoom sessions from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by independent assignments in the afternoon. Attendance for all training hours is required.

Post Training Benefits Include:
• 6 months of mentorship and coaching!
• Individualized career planning!
• Job placement assistance!
• Membership in the California Association of Peer Professionals!
