Northern California PET Imaging Center (NCPIC) was the nation's first freestanding non-university PET Center. Patient-oriented service, clinical excellence, and clinical research are an important part of who we are. We are dedicated to bringing our community the most up-to-date diagnostic imaging systems that provide physicians with critical information for the management of their patients. Our revolutionary imaging technology not only pushes us to the forefront of diagnostic imaging, but also prepares us for a future in which molecular imaging plays an even greater role in disease diagnosis and management.

NCPIC is proud to offer cERianna, the first FDA approved PET imaging agent specifically for recurrent or metastatic breast cancer! In fact, we performed the first exam in the nation, outside of the research clinical setting. Most of all, we are excited on what this means for our patients and the opportunities it will create for them during their treatment process. Please contact us if you have any questions. 😊

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness month.
Testicular cancer is on the rise and can affect any male from infancy to the elderly. An estimated 9,310 will be diagnosed in 2018. The highest rate of diagnoses are males between the ages of 15 and 44. Largely due to the lack of awareness & early detection it is estimated 400 deaths will occur in 2018. That's 400 too many. Statistics can be found on cancer.gov.
