Hello everyone! The Willow Clinic is recruiting undergraduate volunteers for this year! Please check out our flyer for more information.
We are one of the student-run free clinics and we primarily serve folks who are experiencing homelessness in Sacramento. There are no pre-requisites to apply besides the fact that you are a UC Davis student so if you are interested in learning more about what we do please check out our Facebook event page which is linked on the flyer and attend our info nights.

Hello everyone! We are pleased to announce Willow’s very own OB/GYN Clinic will also be available for Telehealth!
•
This clinic is now offering free consultations regarding the following: birth control counseling, pregnancy counseling, urinary tract infection (UTI)/Vaginitis help, reproductive health and preventative care, and general support/ answering questions. No insurance required! OB/GYM health resources and information will be provided on a weekly basis

This clinic is now offering health services centered around treating: mood disorders, PTSD, anxiety, stress management, and other mental health concerns. No insurance required!

When serving populations that are heavily stigmatized and criminalized, it becomes important to become understanding of their behaviors. By incorporating the principles of harm reduction, we excercise humanity, compassion, and respect towards ostracized communities. Being educated on topics such as trauma-informed care and ACEs is vital in providing a safe space for patients in a clinical setting. In placing an emphasis on listening to the patient and respecting their boundaries, agency, and background, we may be able to reduce the possibility for re-traumatization. The mission of the Willow Clinic is to holistically improve the health of community members who are currently living outside or experiencing homelessness while providing a unique platform for student education. We strive to address inequities in healthcare access by operating a free clinic each Saturday. Community members regardless of documentation, or insurance status, can seek medical and psychiatric care as well as a host of other services. We utilize a patient-centered care approach where we prioritize listening to and learning from our community members to best incorporate harm reduction and trauma informed care in our clinic.

Though we provide necessary services to alleviate part of the effects of a much larger, systemic issue, we strive to provide a space for our students to critically reflect on their roles as future health professionals and stand in solidarity with people first and housing first, community based movements. The Willow Clinic brings together a diverse set of compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic students and healthcare professionals who are constantly working together to improve our approach.

The Willow Clinic provide free medical services every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at North Sacramento’s Salvation Army (1200 North B Street Sacramento, CA 95814).
