SacVans Mobility is deeply saddened to say that Fidel Barajas, the founder of Sacramento Van Conversions, lost his 12 1/2 years long battle with cancer this past week. He founded Sacramento Van Conversions in 1983 together with his wife, Deborah and his son-in-law, Omar Magana. They brought mobility solutions to so many wonderful customers for over 35 years. His warmth, leadership and friendship will be missed by us all.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery and Funeral Center on Oct. 14th @ 1pm for all those who wish to come and pay their respects.

SacVans Mobility, Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative Professional to work
in our Sacramento office, performing bookkeeping, clerical, administrative, and
general office administration tasks. The successful candidate will have excellent
oral, written, and organizational skills; be proficient with computers and software;
thrive in a team-oriented environment; and will be flexible to perform a wide
range of tasks to support the operations of the office and the company.
Duties will include general bookkeeping using Quickbooks Desktop Software, time
sheets and payroll, multiple state sales tax reporting, payroll tax payments and
reporting, Customer and Vendor Invoice processing, accounts payables and
receivables, monthly reconciling of all accounts, generating monthly financial
reports, general HR, filing, setting up new vendors, renewing vendorizations with
several agencies yearly and bi-yearly, and other various administrative tasks.
Candidate should possess the following:
- 3+ years experience as a full charge bookkeeper using Quickbooks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Honesty, integrity and reliability
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute complex work tasks reliably
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Software, especially Outlook and Excel
- Familiar with Google Calendar and Google Suite
- Quick learner and comfortable using different software programs
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
- A knowledge of computers and technology a plus

Our hearts are full on our second anniversary with SacVans!

We are very thankful for our wonderful SacVans family of employees. Omar, (Our GM), has taken the reigns and worked tirelessly through the transition to keep the company going and growing. We are so grateful for his patience and work ethic as he mentors us in the business. Our Sales Team, (Amber and Spencer), our Tech Team, (Som, Hutch and Jesse), and our Bookkeeper, (Debra) have all gone above and beyond expectations to support us and take care of our customers which sustains our business, running a small family business successfully against substantial corporate competition can be challenging. This has been particularly difficult during the dark times of this pandemic and we appreciate their professionalism and commitment to service.

Fidel and Debbie Barajas, the founders of SacVans have our eternal gratitude for the opportunity to take over a thriving and worthwhile business where we can serve the needs of our community and honor Veterans on a daily basis.

Hello Everyone! We haven’t posted in quite a while. We have been busy navigating this new world we are currently living in. We are still open as we are an essential business. We have adapted our way of doing business to make things safer for our staff and for our customers. We are still making appointments, but they are drop off only. If you cannot come to us, please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you. Our staff has been very diligent with sanitizing surfaces and doors. If we work on your vehicle or mobility equipment, you can rest assured that all surfaces are wiped down with sanitizing wipes and cleaners before we return anything to you.
