The Joint Service Behavioral Health Office's full-time operations consist of:
A full-time civilian Behavioral Health contractor supporting each of CA ANG's Air Wings. An Embedded Behavioral Health uniformed clinician who responds to the Northern, Central Coast, Central Valley, Southern, and San Diego, California areas to provide crisis intervention services, resources and support services to soldiers, airmen, family members, and commanders on a 24/7 basis. They are assigned by regional area or Wings as arrayed below:

Additionally, the California National Guard Joint Service Behavioral Health Office is continually building a team of state licensed Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists working as Behavioral Health support staff in the California State Military Reserve (CSMR). These part time volunteer positions are unpaid, and are a way for community professionals to support California National Guard soldiers and airman. PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCIES:
