We ask for your prayers for LASD Deputy Dakota Palanca who was severely injured after being struck by a DUI vehicle while engaged in a foot pursuit. She’s a Lakewood Station Deputy and a hard worker. She is ever so dedicated to the thin blue line and also serves as a 2LT in the Army National Guard. She’s currently in a medically induced coma but, as of the last update, is slowly responding to treatment.

Keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
