A beautiful celebration service for Nancy Grandquist. This woman of God lived five lifetimes in one body. Her life inspires me to give more, love deeper, and make every moment count. See you on the other side, friend. ❤️

Today my heart feels so heavy. 💔 Goodbye friend…see you on the other side.

About a year ago, Nancy Grandquist and I baptized over 60 inmates in Florida. We stood waist-deep in that prison water for hours, lifting woman after woman into new life. When we finished, they wouldn’t even give us a towel, and we weren’t allowed to change. We stayed soaking wet the rest of the day.

But Nancy never complained. Not once.

Instead, she led those women in songs of worship like it was the most normal thing in the world. Later that night, she went straight to a nearby church just to be a blessing — and she didn’t take one cent from them. She was in her 70’s. She didn’t slow down. She didn’t hold back. She just poured herself out for others, again and again.

Before we left, she handed me a little tea towel with her mother’s apple pie recipe printed on it. I found myself holding it again yesterday… remembering her and the impact she has made in my life.

Some people preach with microphones.
Some preach with their life.

Nancy did both.

Thank you for showing me what it looks like to serve with joy, with humility, and with everything you have. I will never forget it. 🤍
