heads up! shop will be closed the last thursday & friday of the month-that’s next week! 👀

i’ll be taking a little rest next week, before the start of the official holiday season, to snuggle some bonus cats, and visit my sisters & fam. i’m trying to make sure i make time for rest & play this season, and i hope you can do the same 🫶❤️

the shop is so c o z y in the rain! when i first saw this space four years ago, it was a rainy day. when i finally decided i was ready for a shop, i visited again, and again, it was raining. it rained the day i signed my lease, and the day i got my keys. it rained most of time i was moving stuff in 😅 and now, we’re here again. and it feels like a cleansing, and like i was always meant to be here. like this was always meant to me mine. and ours. and it’s such an overwhelming joy. ❤️

as samhain draws near, i always find it important to not only connect with our ancestors, but to honor and thank every version of our past selves. this photo held one of the most vulnerable eras of me, and i always think of her this time of year. thank you to the girl who had the courage to leave an abusive relationship & fight to keep her pup and her home. that sweet pup may have moved on to his next life, but he literally brought me little lion. those tablecloths, a bit faded now, still grace the tops of my market tables. and the rocking chair sits in a cozy corner of the shop. that girl would so proud and grateful for how far she’s come and the chosen family she has scattered across the globe. what a life ❤️

a hodgepodge of snippets from the loveliest weekend. some highlights:
-our community ancestor altar! such an honor seeing people come by and share in moments of reflection. 🎃
-a neighbor swinging by the shop &. learning a new crochet pattern together 🧶
-pumpkin carving & miner’s birthday!! friends and pups, what else could you want?🐾🐾
-biscuits from little lion, the sweetest, spiciest baker i know 🐱

friends! i will not be at the market this saturday.

truthfully, i’m tired. 😅 and, the apothecary is dwindling in supplies. between the shop and the markets, plus a few special events, i’m low on everything. this is not a complaint!! i am so so grateful for all of your support of this little business. i just need to take a minute to focus on restocking and also-preparing for the holidays!

i will have then shop open saturday while i work on some things, and i hope to be back at the market next week!
