Clinical Research Coordinator Training Program

Are you interested in a career in clinical research? Join our 8 month educational and internship training program and gain the skills you need to become a Clinical Research Coordinator!

✅Program Highlights:
•Hands on training & paid internship (800 hours)
•Learn directly within UC Davis Health’s network
•Build skills for a meaningful career in healthcare research

🗓️Orientation Dates: (Must attend one session)
🗓️Wednesday, November 19th or Thursday, November 20th
🕙10am to 12pm

📋Eligibility Requirements:
•Have interest in public sector employment
•Resident of the City of Sacramento or live in the following zip codes: 95811, 95814, 95815, 95817, 95818, 95820, 95823, 95824, 95828, 95832, 95833, 95838
•Low-income individual or family member (including those receiving public assistance)
•English reading/writing proficient
•Must pass UC Davis Health medical clearance and background check
•Have right to work documents
•No advance degree (B.A./B.S. or higher)
•Able to commit to 24hrs per week for 11weeks + 800 hour paid internship

We’re honored to share that La Familia was one of five nonprofits recognized at the 3rd Annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit, hosted by Selena Gomez and emceed by Jimmy Kimmel on October 29 in Los Angeles! 💜

The Rare Impact Fund, powered by Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, shines a global spotlight on organizations advancing youth mental health. A portion of Rare Beauty’s proceeds supports nonprofits like ours that are reducing stigma and helping young people access vital mental health resources.

At La Familia, our youth programs provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people can learn, grow, and feel a true sense of belonging. With the support of the Rare Impact Fund, we’ve proudly hosted one Youth Mental Health Summit and we’re thrilled to host another one for parents and youth this November.
