Lymphedema Support Group is March 19th at 9:30am.

This month, we are highlighting Lymphedema Awareness.
*If you are able, please wear teal to the Support Group meeting.
(Teal is the awareness color for lymphedema.)
*We will watch a video about imaging the lymph system and talk about recent advances in treatment and surgery.
*Refreshments will be provided, along with photo opportunities for you to share on your social media to help raise awareness.

Amy Flinn, PT, CLT, will be hosting this month's group.
The group meets at our office from 9:30am to 11am, and welcomes anyone seeking support and encouragement from others living with lymphedema.

Our BOGO (Buy one get on 50% off) sale starts today!! From March 4- March 18th. These is a great way to stock up on garments that are not covered by insurance. And it is only good for self- pay transactions.

World Lymphedema day is March 6th.

Traditionally we set aside March 6 and celebrate World Lymphedema Day in our Office. However, this year we want to make this a month-long awareness campaign.

In addition to the garment sale, we'll be sure and celebrate during this month's Lymphedema Support Group on March 19th

As summer comes to an end : Medi USA: Reminds caring for your medical compression stockings.

Washing your compression stockings every day is essential for ensuring they last a long time. This removes sweat and skin particles, which helps to maintain their elasticity and compressive effect.

But please note: only wash them on a gentle cycle or by hand! A laundry bag can provide additional protection for the fabric. Our medi compression stockings are tumble dryer safe (gentle cycle), but we recommend air drying. Your compression stockings should not be dried on a radiator or in the sun. Our tip: they dry best overnight and are ready for use again the next morning.

And what if you're on the go? No problem! With a little hand wash detergent (we recommend medi clean), your stockings can also be cleaned quickly and easily by hand.
