My Healing Journey -
It is through my own healing journey that I came to be a Certified Massage Therapist specializing in CranioSacral Therapy. My family and the medical community struggled to understand what was going on and what I needed. This led to an ever expanding list of diagnoses throughout my life including: Allergies, Asthma, Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, GERD, LERD, Migraines, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and Tarlov Cyst Disease among others. All were an attempt to explain my symptoms and each came with a list of medication and “To Do & Not Do” lists. However, none of the medications or suggestions “fixed” my symptoms. As soon as one diagnosis was resolved or I learned to live with it, new symptoms would begin. I would be back in the system attempting to find answers and relief resulting in another diagnosis, more medications, and more lists. It wasn’t until I decided to put everything I had into my own health that things began to change for me. I made real, substantial changes in my life. I developed a strong core network of healthcare and healing arts practitioners to help me in my journey. I shifted my internal focus from symptom relief to healing. I worked with my medical doctor and my own intuition to find complementary options and alternatives. Most of all, I started listening to my body and my own inner wisdom. If it didn’t feel right, I didn’t do it. I learned to trust myself and the messages my body was giving me. It was with the help of amazing people that I no longer saw pain as something to numb or mute, but as a signal from my body. CranioSacral therapy was the key that opened the door to healing for me. It was not the only effective tool, but it was a huge part of my journey that worked in collaboration with all other modalities. As soon as healing shifts began, I knew deep inside that it was my turn to learn and share. That is when I began studying CranioSacral therapy and other complimentary modalities. My personal healing journey gives me a unique perspective as a healing arts practitioner. My skills -
Each session is individually tailored to the needs of the client that day and could include combinations of the various modalities I practice. Sometimes this feels like deep work and other times this feels like very light and relaxing work. I bring a willingness to listen to the body’s messages, an open mind, and an open heart to each session with a client. I am continuously expanding the depth and breadth of my knowledge and skills so that I can be fully present in each session. What is CranioSacral Therapy (CST)? CST is a light touch approach that releases tension and restriction in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve health and performance. You remain fully clothed as you relax on a comfortable, padded table. This modality uses gentle touch, starting with about the weight of a nickel, to evaluate your internal environment and release any restrictions found. By freeing the central nervous system the body is able to self-correct and eliminate pain and stress. This strengthens your resistance to disease and enhances your health and well-being. CranioSacral sessions are highly individual and clients generally find these sessions deeply relaxing. CrainoSacral therapy helps relieve many types of pain, illness, and dysfunction including:
Migraines
Headaches
Chronic Neck and Back Pain
Stress and Tension-Related Disorders
Motor-Coordination Impairments
Infant and Childhood Disorders
Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia
TMJ Syndrome

Central Nervous System Disorders
Learning Disabilities

And many other conditions
