Recently, Shopify decided they were going to delete the "Reviews" app from their customer's websites. They did give a 3 month notice, but the data collection and migration was not properly set up. There are many store owners gathering to talk about a class action suit as so many of these small businesses rely on their reviews to sell products. Oh, and they are not giving a discount on their subscription fee even though they have cut out one of the MAIN features.
Unfortunately, almost all of our reviews were deleted through this process and they claim there is no way for them to retrieve that data for us. 🤔 I did have some of them backed up, but only about 10% of them.
If you have purchased a product from The Good Rub before, we would be super grateful for your feedback. Each product on our website has the ability to write a review. I will post our site and a few product links in the comments for easy access.
Shopify has been a great option for us for the last few years, but I am starting to wonder if there is a better option out there with the same features. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!
