The practice of Obstetrics is concerned with the medical management of pregnancy, including preconception counseling, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and the post-partum (after delivery) period. This field covers a broad medical and surgical spectrum including contraception, infertility, annual examination, menopausal disorders, pelvic surgery, urinary tract dysfunction, laser surgery, etc. In short, the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology is the branch of medicine wholly dedicated to women's health care from early adolescence through the reproductive years, and well beyond. She is a fellow of the American college of obstetrics and gynecology and a member of American Medical Association. Dr. Mann finished her medical school in India from NSCB Government Medical College Jabalpur, India. After moving to US she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from St.Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut, an affiliate of University of Connecticut. She is highly trained in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. During her residency Dr. Mann served as Chief resident. She has received multiple awards for teaching and research during residency and as an attending. She received the award for best research during her chief resident year. As an attending physician Dr. Mann has mentored medical and nursing students and received appreciation from the hospitals for excellent patient care. After finishing residency Dr.Mann moved to New Jersey, where she worked with a group practice near Jersey Shore, before she moved to North Jersey.
