Crawford Care Center Celebrates National Cookie Monster Day!

Last week, we honored everyone’s favorite cookie-loving monster in the sweetest way possible! From delicious treats to big smiles, our residents and staff enjoyed a day full of cookies, laughter, and joy.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, because as Cookie Monster says, “Today me will live in the moment… unless it’s cookie time!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We had so many great costumes!!

Huge congrats to our staff costume winner: Becky, our amazing CNA, who got completely stuck in a spider web! 🕷️😂 She's spinning a great tale!

And the resident costume competition was fierce! Taking home the prize is... "The Nudist on Strike"! 🤣

Coming in a very close second, it was a tie between the sweet and cuddly Care Bears trio! 🐻🌈

We hope everyone has a safe and spooky holiday!

Happy National "Give a HOOT Day" from Crawford Care Center! 🦉

Our adorable friend, Screech, stopped by to give a hoot and remind everyone that our food drive is still going strong!

We're collecting donations until November 7th.

All contributions will directly benefit the Saegertown Methodist Church Food Pantry and help those in need right here in our community.

Let's all "give a hoot" and help fill the pantry shelves! You can drop off your non-perishable items at the Care Center during our regular hours.

P.S. Speaking of licks... Did you know the scientific community can't even agree on how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Studies find the answer is anywhere from 144 to 1,000! 🍭
