Dealing with stubborn pain that won’t go away?
Shockwave Therapy helps stimulate healing in areas that feel “stuck”: ✔️ Plantar fasciitis ✔️ Tendinopathies ✔️ Chronic muscle tightness ✔️ Old injuries that never fully healed
It works by increasing blood flow and “restarting” the healing process.
👉 This is one of our go-to tools when progress has stalled.

Your glutes don’t just get “weak”… they get replaced.
When they stop firing properly, your low back, hips, or hamstrings take over—and that’s where tightness and pain begin.
Try this simple reset: ✔️ Slow, controlled glute bridges ✔️ Focus on squeezing—not lifting higher ✔️ Keep ribs down and core engaged
Think of this as a reset, not a workout.
Save this for your next movement break ✔️

Which one sounds like you? 🤔
A) You’ve tried everything and nothing sticks B) Pain comes and goes but never fully leaves C) Workouts feel uneven or limited D) You just “push through it”
If you picked ANY of these… your body is compensating somewhere. Addressing the body’s compensation patterns is key to unlocking full movement potential 💪

Most people aren’t in pain because they’re “broken”… They’re in pain because their body adapted.
When certain muscles stop doing their job, other areas pick up the slack—and that’s when pain shows up.
At Kinetic Chiropractic, we identify the why behind your pain so you can actually fix it—not just manage it.
👉 If you’ve tried stretching, foam rolling, or rest with no lasting results… there’s usually a missing piece.

If you sit most of the day, your glutes are probably *on vacation* 😅
In this video, I’m breaking down how to properly perform a **glute bridge** — one of my favorite “movement breaks” for desk workers and busy professionals.
When we sit for prolonged periods, the glutes tend to shut off (aka “gluteal amnesia”). Over time, that can contribute to poor hip control, pelvic instability, and increased stress on the lower back.
The glutes play a HUGE role in:
✔️ Hip stability
✔️ Pelvic control
✔️ Lower back support
✔️ Efficient movement patterns
Taking 1–2 minutes to activate them during your workday can make a noticeable difference in how your hips and back feel.
Try 2–3 sets of 8–12 slow, controlled reps. Focus on:
• Ribs down
• Neutral pelvis
• Driving through your heels
• Full hip extension without arching your low back
Your back shouldn’t be doing your glutes’ job 👏
Save this for your next workday movement break — your hips will thank you.

Struggling with lower back pain? Check your pelvis position! When your pelvis is neutral, your spine naturally aligns — no strain, no slouch. Try rocking your pelvis forward and back while seated, then land in the middle — that’s your neutral zone! 🙌

Big news 🥳 We’ve added Shockwave Therapy to the practice! Shockwave uses gentle acoustic pulses (think: powerful sound waves) to stimulate blood flow, wake up stagnant, irritated tissue, and jump-start your body’s natural healing process. It’s especially helpful for stubborn, nagging conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon issues, tennis/golfer’s elbow, calcific tendinopathy, and other chronic tendon problems that just won’t resolve. If you’ve been dealing with an issue that hasn’t responded to rest, stretching, or strengthening alone, this may be the missing piece.

Dr. Caitlin Sullivan is a National Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician licensed to practice in the state of Florida. She graduated cm laude from the founding chiropractic institution, Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, IA.
While attending chiropractic school, Dr. Sullivan completed extracurricular coursework in treating extremities (feet, knees, hips, wrists, shoulders, etc.), soft tissues (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, trigger-point, and myofascial release), rehabilitation protocols, and elastic taping (RockTape).
Prior to starting chiropractic school, Dr. Sullivan worked as a personal trainer. She obtained her personal training certification from the National Personal Training Institute -- a 6-month, in-person program that operates through the Board of Education in each state. Just before that, she earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Spanish from the University of Illinois -- Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Sullivan was fortunate enough to study abroad in Bilbao, Spain, for 6 months while completing her undergraduate studies.
Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Sullivan grew up as an athlete. She played softball for 12 years before suffering a shoulder injury that ended her career. Since a young age, Dr. Sullivan knew she wanted to pursue an occupation in healthcare. Her passion for helping people + her fascination of the human body + her love of sports all collided to lead her down the path to becoming a chiropractor.
Dr. Sullivan resides in Palm Harbor with her husband, Mikhail, and their dogs, Tyson and Luna. She enjoys traveling, going to the beach, Latin dancing, biking, kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and spending time with friends and family.
